Device update and recovery system

A system built on an nRF52840 DK (firmware, logic) and Python (UI) enabled mass wireless updates of devices still in their packaging, with optional flashing of intermediate firmware. Among other things, the solution makes it possible to flash custom firmware onto devices that have already been manufactured.

The system cut the process from about 10 minutes to 3 minutes per device, while also running a large number of processes in parallel. The whole process now runs with minimal human intervention (a single button click to start).

The system has already processed more than 50,000 devices.
